A disinfection protocol is one essential aspect against Covid-19.
Our protocol will be continuously improved but the basis will surely be the same, namely: opt for longer stays, wear mask, constant disinfection and reasonable distancing.
Let’s focus on stays of more than 2 nights.
Indeed, “long” stays are less risky because you will meet fewer people. We offer hydroalcoholic gel and a disinfectant spray. You may also bring your personal protections. Payment by credit card, which limits contacts, is used more than ever.
A minimum of 6 hours is respected between a departure and an arrival of our guests after a ventilation of the premises.
We do our best to make sure your stay goes as smooth as possible. We work with all our partners: restaurants, merchants, producers, tourist office and recreation center to make you have a good holiday.
The outlines:
The cottage and the houseboat : you have the complete accommodation with kitchen and bathroom for you alone and your family. (See protocol below)
The cottage stays open all year round.
The yurts are currently closed until April 2021. They are also self-contained and you won’t come across anyone or at a more sufficient distance thanks to the available free space. They do not have a private kitchen or sanitary facilities. Shared cooking has always been very successful as it allows you to prepare your meals and picnics. Thank you for bringing your own dishes. This year, we can provide the necessary dishes, for your safety : boxed after being cleaning at 60°C: plates, glasses, cutlery, bowls… within the limit of our stocks – one pan and one frying pan per family. We plan to limit the access time to the kitchen: 8 a.m./11 a.m., then 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. and finally 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in order to disinfect each periods. Each yurt has a picnic table for outdoor meals. The restaurateurs and caterers of our commune deliver your meals to you. An 80 square meters room with four tables will be made available in case of bad weather which is very rare. 🙂
The toilets are disinfected regularly. (see protocol below)
The gypsy caravan has the advantage of having a private bathroom: sink, shower and toilet. It has a picnic table for outdoor meals. This year, we can provide the necessary dishes, for your safety : boxed after being cleaned at 60°C: plates, glasses, cutlery, bowls per person, within the limit of our stocks – one pan and one pan per family. The 80-sqm room with four tables is available in case of bad weather.
Protocol for Guest rooms, cottage and houseboat
The cottages are more secure because you are autonomous for meals.
As soon as you enter, you will find hydroalcoholic gel.
To prevent people crossing each other as much as possible, we rather rent one room on the first floor and one on the ground floor.
A minimum of 6 hours is respected between a departure and an arrival of our guests.
Complete cleaning is done before disinfection. The vacuum cleaner is disinfected between two accommodations or rooms.
Bedsheets and pillowcases are cleaned by the “Servilinge” company (specialized in the hotel industry). Undersheets and pillow covers are changed and washed at 60 degrees.
Bathrooms are cleaned with The Hakawerk company’s products : “neutralsafe”. Disinfection with “kanisol” for sinks, showers, toilets, hair dryer, and floor including that of the rooms, as well as door handles, windows, cabinets, lamps, night table, desk, dresser, shelves and canopy bed.
Carpets, flyers, common documentation and bibelots have been put aside. Documentation is given to you personally and will only be used once. The most environment friendly way is to use the information available on the internet with your own devices, phones or tablets.
Breakfasts will be served in two different rooms. If the same family wants to rent all three rooms, the problem no longer arises: breakfasts will be served in the same room. A kitchen specific to the guest rooms is available. As agreed with our local restaurants and caterers, food delivery of their specialties will be possible. (See protocol below)
People renting the Cottage or the Houseboat are autonomous and prepare their own meals. The kitchen is completely cleaned and disinfected after each stay : dishes are washed by us in a 60°C dishwasher and we clean and disinfect : worktops, stove, robots, refrigerator, microwave oven, rubbish bins. Arrival/departure times are before 10 a.m. for departures and after 6 p.m. for arrivals so as to have the time necessary for all these operations.
For guest rooms, breakfasts will be served in 2 separate rooms. Tables, benches, floors, door handles and switches, meal preparation equipment, refrigerator, worktop, sink, microwave oven, cooking plates are disinfected. dishes are machine-washed at 60°C. Unconsumed food will be not reused. (hence our dog will get fat).
